Location:
first three weeks at Jordan Middle School, Little Theatre,
750 N. California Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94303

Last week in Palo Alto High School's Haymarket Theatre,
50 Embarcadero Road, Palo Alto, CA 94301

For serious, advanced students of theatre ages 14 - 19
Entrance by application and audition
Limited enrollment: Minimum 10, Maximum 30

Cost: $750 per student - includes all materials, venue rentals,
guest instructors, morning snacks, royalties, and production costs
Also: attendance at TheatreWorks' summer production, seminar with
the actors, tour of TheatreWorks' facilities and meet artists behind the scenes.

9:00 AM to 3:00 PM each day--
Mornings (9:00 - 12:00) focus on technique-- with workshops in improv, voice & dialect, mime technique, audition protocols, Scene Study with Dr. Forte, clowning, dance, and stage combat.

Afternoons (12:45 - 3:00) we rehearse, leading to full production; performances on the last Friday and Saturday in the Historic Haymarket Theatre at Palo Alto HS; this year's title TBA

Training & direction by Dr. Jeanie Forte, w/guest instructors from TheatreWorks and other local working theatre professionals

Jeanie Forte has a Ph.D. in Theatre and over 25 years teaching acting at all levels; over 25 years directing; recipient Dean Goodman Choice Award 2003 for her direction of The Seagull; and a lifetime of theatre experience.
